1996 Suzuki GSX-R 1100

Owner: Peter Margett

Comments:” I found a photo that you may be able to use (Peter sent me a picture of a purple '96 GSX-1100).

My bike is the alternative colour scheme, which is blue and white, I've attached a picture of my bike too.

I still have my GSXR-1100WT, but haven't ridden it for a few years. I also have a 1982 Suzuki GSX-750SZ Katana. ”

1971 Suzuki TC 90

Owner: Jamie Bush,
Eolia, KY USA

Comments: ”Here is my'71 Suzuki TC90. It's all original, even the paint. It has the high & low gears and oil injection. The engine also uses a rotary valve.

It has about 3,200 original miles on it. I bought it on August 19th, 2013 for $400.

I just put a new tire on the back. I have an important question: Can I run premix in this bike? I've heard that the oil injection lubes the crank bearings. So if I use premix will it destroy my engine? The guy I got it from isn't mechanically inclined like me and he ran premix in it for the short time he had rode it. Does this mean my oil pump is bad now?

The engine runs but I need to rebuild the carb. I plan on putting new rings in it too. I hope nothing's hurt. Also, what's the top speed on this bike?

I love this bike and I can't wait to get her on the road and trails. My name is Jamie. I live in Eolia, KY. My email address is jwbush1989@hotmail.com if anyone has any info or questions.”

1985 Suzuki GSX 400 T

Owner: Kristof Rijpens, Belgium

Comments: ”I really like your site! I looked up all my Suzuki's immediatly (Suzuki ZR50 sl and a GSX400T).
I saw there were pictures and info missing from the GSX400T. Here's a picture of my bike.

The T model is the same as the other GSX400 twin models apart from some styling differences.”

1981 Suzuki GS 550 E

Owner: Daniel Nielsen, Denmark

Comments:”Thanks for the nice page with plenty of good information.

I notice that under the '81 GS550E you write that you would like more information about this motorcycle.

I recently bought this model. Mine have a single front disc brake (left side) like in your image, and have never had two (there is no room for it).
Mine is originally from Denmark.

I would imagine that this version is a cheaper European model, since it's not appearing on US pages and German pages, but easy to find in Scandinavia and UK.

Attached is an image of my bike, it's first time registered in March 1981, which initially led me to believe it was a 1980 model, but according to sources on the Internet (and your page) it seems to be 1981 year's model.”

Little Rock AR USA (then)
e-mail: jsplegge@gmail.com

Modifications:

Comments:” I got it new and kept it about a year. I believe my next bike was Honda TL-250.

Bike was light and easy to handle, but needed even more flywheel effect.”

2006 Suzuki GSX 1400

Owner: Anthony Adam, Australia
e-mail: mysite13@hotmail.com
Comments:” I thought after reading your page that I'd send you some pictures of my Suzuki bike which is a K6 GSX1400. It's an 08/2006 model with 33,702 km on it and I brought it third hand in almost like new condition with just a few little minor mperfections around the bike which is to be expected with a bike of this age.

I had an accident on the 07/06/2013 where a car did an illegal u-turn right in front of me which resulted in me being ejected from the bike (I was only doing between 40 to 50 kph) and the bike itself (which was a Japan only release Honda CB1000T2 which I brought and specially imported into Australia and was the only one of its kind here).

Needless to say I received an insurance pay out and started searching for a new bike. I have to give credit where credit is due and I personally thank you for this site because it helped with giving me the information I needed while researching the GSX1400, as well as reading lots of online reviews. It all helped me to decide that that was the bike for me.

I'm convinced that I purchased the correct bike because it does everything I want it to do, it will tour long distances (Australia is a big country!) and it will carve up the mountain corners on our local mountain with no problem. It will do all this while I remain in comfort on that beautiful seat and those big wide upright bars make changing lines a breeze and help the handling stay rock solid.

Anyway I'm back in love with my Suzuki after 15 years (which have been on Hondas) which is also the time gone past since I brought my Limited Edition black and gold GSX-R1100J at the end of 1988 (which I still own and is in storage with only 383 km on its clock)”
