1976 Suzuki TR 750 X11 Replica
.
Owner: Malcolm Curnin,
North Yorkshire, UK
.
Comments: ”Hi thought you would like a picture of my bike. It has never raced, it was a road bike.
.
It was not really nice to ride, too uncomfortable and too fast. I sold it in 2018.
.
The  pictures were taken at my house in North Yorkshire.”
.
Take notice that the bike with number 7 on it is Malcolm's TR750. The number 42 is not the same bike.

1971 Suzuki GS 1000

Owner: Mark Frumkin,
Hazleton, Pennsylvania USA
.
Comments: ”The bike came from Airport Suzuki in Moon Township,  Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and was owned by Wm. Moore, the owner of the dealership, before me.
.
He told me that it was a pre-release model,  one of 400 to come into the country in 1977.  Its serial number is GS1000000560.
.
I've only put maybe  1000 miles on it since I bought it some 15+ years ago. It still runs perfectly.
.
The mileage on the meter is correct.
.
It has had regular maintenance and driven a bit every year. The bike is in storage in a heated garage.”

1987 Suzuki GS 850 G
.
Owner: Alan Stephenson,
Laceby, Lincolnshire England
.
Comments:”I aquired this 1987 suzuki GS850G in early June 2013 in very good condition and with only 31000 miles on the clock. It runs very well and is comfortable to ride.
.
I had been looking for a while for a GS model and found this one in Norwich, England.
.
It was many years since I owned a motorcycle and always had Suzukis apart from a Yamaha YL1 Twinjet. My previous Suzukis were a K11, B100P and a T200 Invader of which there is picture of on this website.”

Comments:”Please find My Suzuki K10 80cc, 1967 model and 1971 TS90R.
.
The Suzuki K10 has been stored for 30 years and  required a gearbox refurb and good clean up. It is a beautiful little bike and thrives on 7,000 rpm and upwards.
.
The 5L tank takes the little  bike about 200km’s at full throttle.
.
These old Suzuki motors were well lubricated with the CCI lube. This no doubt  saved countless rebuilds.
.
.
The Suzuki TS90 was a real ‘basket case’ ready for landfill. After a hectic rust removal process and a paint job it has come up a treat.
.
I have not touched the motor. So really it was all cosmetic. Another little gem back from the dead.” Success smells sweet, so do 2 strokes!”

Comments:”I was helping my partner to restore one of these bikes many years ago.  We struggled to find any decent info on the bike and even though we pulled off a fairly decent restoration, I still don't even know the exact year model or anything else about it.
.
Note the low handle bars and custom made speedometer which gives it more of a vintage look.
.
I thought you might like this picture for your site.”

1958 Suzuki Colleda TM
.
.
Owner: Shane Bligh,
Pattaya, Thailand
.
Comments:”I am thinking of restoring this 'barn find' old Suzuki two-stroke as a part time hobby. The owner is basically going to give me for next to nothing just to get rid of it.
.
I do not know the model of the bike.
I have attached some pictures of it.
Do you or your colleagues know what year, model and spec it is?”

My reply:
I think it looks a lot like the 1958 Colleda TM. The business model Colleda TM was the cheapest Colleda model available that year. It used the powerful parallel twin engine from the Colleda TP and was a practical bike to transport goods with.
The tubular frame was equipped with a telescopic front fork but went back to the traditional rear plunger suspension. The single saddle seat was equipped with large rear carrier. The headlamp had a nacelle shaped like a TP, but the passenger handle has changed to a pressed steel one. The manufacturer “S” logo was provided on the tank for the first time on this motorcycle. Sales price was 159,000 Yen against 205,000 Yen for the TP.
