Suzuki RL250 model history
I
have tried to tell the RL 250 model history on this page as I
know it. This page is still under construction.
I would be grateful of any contributions sales brochures, magazine ads,
magazine articles, pictures, specs, facts, corrections etc. Please scan the material
in JPEG format (large enough that all the details are visible) and send
them to me. Please tell me the source and the publication date if possible.
If you send me pictures of your own bike, please follow these
instructions.

Unlike, Honda or Yamaha, Suzuki did not have a competitive trial
bike in the lineup in the early seventies. The first Suzuki trial
model, the RL250, was developed and built by Graham Beamish, UK,
for Suzuki. The RL250 first appeared in 1974 and was also available
with a sidecar. A larger version, RL325, appeared in 1979. (I
know very little of the Beamish-Suzuki Trial bikes, please send
me more info.) |
