1964 Suzuki M 31

Owner: ???

It's a shame that some people are too shy to tell their names and where they live. Normally I wouldn't publish the pictures if the owner don't tell who they are but in this case I didn't notice that before I had already processed the pictures in Photoshop and uploaded to the server.

For the owner of the bike: Please send a note to me with additional info and I will add it to the page. Please mention the page number so I can find your bike.

Comments: ”I just picked this old thing up for 50.00 dollars and thought I would send you some pics.”

'86ish RB-50 GAG

'86 GSX-R50 GAG

1986 Suzuki RB 50

Owner: Bong Mandilag,
the Philippines

Comments: ”I'm Bong from the Philippines sharing the pictures of my RB-50 with my two lovely kids.

I bought this from a friend two years ago. When I saw a picture of a GAG-50 on your site I was convinced that I must restore my own bike. I thank you and your  wonderful site for this.”

This cool mini bike has been called different names in different parts of the world. GAG, RB50, GSX-R50...
As you can see, even Bong's bike has a GSX-R50 logo attached to it.

The graphics and the paint job are not original. You can see all of the original graphics (different versions) on the RB50 model history page (click on the link below).

GS-1000 SWes Cooley replica
1982 Suzuki GSX 1000 S Katana

Owners: Joe Weir, Dave Weir, Bruce Goetz, Portland, Oregon, USA

Comments: ” Here are  three great examples of 1982 Katana 1000s that are owned by myself, Joe Weir, my brother Dave Weir (Guru Mechanic) and my friend (Cleany Boy) Bruce Goetz. All located in Portland, Oregon.

Dave's bike was just recently purchased with only 3,100 miles!

About the only un-stock item on these bikes is my Vance & Hines exhaust, which in my opinion lessens the vibration that the stock pipes create.

These fine machines are ridden frequently and turn many heads when together! Also included is my Wes Cooley that has been restored over the last year with the help of Bruce Goetz.”

The GS1000S Wes Cooley-replica photos are thumbnails only. I have asked Joe to send me larger images.

'89 RG 125 Gamma

Here's more Suzuki RG125 info.
1989 Suzuki RG 125 Gamma

Owner: Gareth Anderson, UK
Buckie, Scotland

Comments: ”I got a wreck of a RG 125 Gamma modified for track racing (didn't use the frame, just some parts). After weeks of pondering I decided on the Durex Streetfighter.

After attacking it with a 9-inch grinder and bending the subframe up and rewelding new struts, I decided to use the original seat an just cut it in half and used fiberglass to make a single seat conversion; then recovered the front after reducing the height.

I riveted an aluminum plate to the bottom of the subframe and remapped all the wiring so all the electrics are under the single seat, including the sealed battery.

The engine was already modified quite extensively and now from intake to exit, ram air filter, the carb throat is bored out by four mm. Larger main jet, carbon Reed valves. Barrel is ported, polished and bored to the max, heads been skimmed, Iridium plug (naturally), exhaust port is bored out by four mm. The exhaust came from the track bike, no idea what make.

It goes like stink but you get about 45 miles before you need new piston rings..

The racing stripes were just cut from masking tape and stuck on before spraying with that gorgeous blue.

The handlebar risers are courtesy of M&P as is the headlight fairing. Everything else is standard from suspension to brakes, clocks and all. The rear light is from a DT125R and a braided break line up front for extra stopping power.

It was my first major build and a steep learning curve but I've got one of the most outstanding head turners in Bonny Jockland.”
