1981 Suzuki GS 450 L

Owner: Vincent Degennaro,
Brooklyn, New York, USA

Comments: ”Here's a couple of pictures of my 1981 Suzuki GS450L that I purchased in August 2004. It has 11,300 original miles on it.

It is in very good shape and seems all original. It rides well, has good pick-up.

I ride it locally, just for fun. Paid $600.”

2001 Suzuki GSF 1200 S Bandit

Owner: Herb Martin,
McKinney, Texas, USA

Comments: ”Here are some photos of my Bandit, which I purchased about a month ago.  Purchased it from a Kawasaki shop in Irving, Texas (about an hour away).  The pictures are taken there. It was traded in by a young lady who found it a little too powerful (she traded for a Kawasaki 750), although she managed to put 20,000 miles on it.

It is in perfect condition.  The previous owner added a Dale Walker's Holeshot Perfomance exhaust system and steel braided brake lines.  I have added a luggage rack with a Givi top kit and trunk to it.

The bike is very fast.  The fastest I have owned.  It tries to pull my hands off when I accelerate and the front wheel wants to come off the ground.  Ha!

The Bandit riding position was not comfortable for me, so the Suzuki shop near my house recommended replacing the handlebars with Helibars, which has helped a lot.  I have not decided, yet, if this is enough, but it does let me sit up almost straight like on a V-Strom.

I have owned these other bikes, also: 1973 Suzuki GT250, 1978 Suzuki GS750E, 1980 Harley-Davidson FXS Lowrider, 1982 Suzuki GS450T and 1993 BMW K75. I still have the Beemer and the 450.”

It`s the first type born in 1976...

I just love it...

Owner: Mr. Willem Jan van Buren,
az Hoenderloo, the Netherlands

Comments: ”Here's pictures of my GN 250.  The bike is a 1992 with a Velorex 562 sidecar from 1994. Altough it doesn't look like it, it's always running and never gives me any problems. I gave her a name Roosje.”

1980 Suzuki GS 1000 G
1980 GS 850 GT

Owner: Chris Lutes,
Grand Island, Nebraska, USA

Comments: ”My father had bought his 1980 GS1000G off the showroom floor in 1980 and has owned it ever since. It has been babied through its entire life.

I purchased a 1980 GS850GT a year ago and set to restoring it from the previous owner's neglect. After a king's fortune in parts and many hours of labor I got it close to it's former glory.

This picture was taken south of Ouray, Colorado, last fall. My 850 is in front and my father's 1000 is behind it. 1700 miles, 3 men, 4 days, and no mechanical problems at all.

My bike has 50k miles on it and my dad's 1000 has 18k. Still purring like kittens and a tribute to Suzuki's superior engineering.”
