Comments:
Recent
purchase, complete and in surprisingly good condition under the
apparent poor exterior. Lots of new spares acquired and only awaiting
restoration.

1972 Suzuki T 125-2

Owner: Owner: Joe W Richardson,
Hull, United Kingdom

Comments:
Owned
since 1989 and an original UK bike. Initially overhauled in 1990
and looked very tidy but lacked power due to a worn engine top
end. OK but top speed limited to 50 mph.

After
many years searching and purchasing all the Stinger
parts I could find anywhere in the world. A general upgrade with
the correct parts has been done and currently running in (at Dec
2003) after a full engine rebuild including a rebore.

1973 Suzuki RV 125

Owner: Owner: Joe W Richardson,
Hull, United Kingdom

Comments:
Bought
as in the photo and used to drive around the garden as with the
wide tyre it does not destroy the grass.

Currently
partially stripped down awaiting rebuild and return to standard
if I can find the correct body parts. Alternatively, it will be
rebuilt as a special.

1976 Suzuki GT 125 A

Owner: Owner: Joe W Richardson,
Hull, United Kingdom

Comments:
Bought
it early 90s as a poor non-runner but picked up a load of
cheap new parts shortly after. Ran for many years but suffered
crank failure in '97. The big end pins are part of the webs and
it has taken a number of years to find enough good parts to rebuild
the crank.

Currently
running in (at Dec 2003) as a rebore has also been carried out.

1965 Suzuki S 32

Owner: Owner: Joe W Richardson,
Hull, United Kingdom

Comments:
Not
many of this bike around and it has taken a number of years to
collect enough parts for a full rebuild. Currently awaiting crank
overhaul but the strange sizes of the rods is causing a difficulty
in finding replacement.

Anybody got a good spare crank that I can purchase?

1968 Suzuki T 200

Owner: Owner: Joe W Richardson,
Hull, United Kingdom

Comments:
American
version with the chrome tank panels and large single speedo without
tacho.

Full
restoration carried out and is a very nippy bike to
ride with over 1,000 miles covered during Summer 2003.

Excellent
B road bike that does not need the three figure high
speed of modern bikes to be enjoyable.

1968 Suzuki TC 200

Owner: Owner: Joe W Richardson,

Comments:
American
high pipe version. Originally tidied up with a horrible
red brush paintwork. The engine ran well but is now suffering
with a damaged big end bearing. Awaiting rebuild with a reconditioned
crank and a new white paint scheme.

This
colour is not standard but I have acquired a full body set that
someone has painted white just to practice. However,
is has been done very well so it will be a shame to waste it. |

1965 Suzuki T 10

Owner: Owner: Joe W Richardson,
Hull, United Kingdom

Comments:
Bought
in 2002 and was supposed to be a runner. However, no way had it
been on the road in many years. I managed to get the engine sort
of running but not properly.

As
I have a lot of T10 spares I stripped the engine down and rebuilt
it with a new crank and rebore. Once this was done, I generally
freed everything up and polished what was left.

The
engine casings were painted black and the exhaust silver. The
bike was then tested and ran OK but very rich. After resetting
the carbs to the later model specs it then ran very well.

It
is well on the way (Dec 2003) to completing the running in period.
Once reliability has been proved, I intend to upgrade the bike
with polished casings, better exhaust and a recovered seat. Another
bike that is very rare these days and definitely not seen in day
to day use.
