”Suzuki RF 750 RS

Owner: Marc ”GSXR” Wapstra, 39, Steenwijk Holland

Comments: ”I am building a very special RF, we call it Project R. The base is a RF600R and I use parts from a 1996 GSX-R750 SRAD and the results will be be a Suzuki RF750RS...

The engine, carbs, exhaust downpipes (seat pipes coming up), the front, brakes and wheels come from the GSX-R. Tuned-up engine.

Visit our site for more photos: www.marcgsxr-motorina.tk or www.teamsuzuki.nl -> Project R”

1998 Suzuki GSF 600 Bandit

Owner: Wikus Viljoen, Windhoek, Namibia

Comments : ”I bought my Bandit in 1998. It has been repainted with this Italian Marble Red. The Bandit sticker on the picture was made by a graphics shop in Walvisbay. It is slightly modified. The speedo cases were chromed and I sprayed it black and also the black covers around the air filter. The engine is untouched.

The Bandit is the nicest bike I've ever ridden. I don't like bikes with fairings.

If you ride at 140 kph (90 mph) and the wind blows from the side it gets a bit tricky to keep the bike steady, but nothing dangerous.

I like the performance, the power is a bit low at 2000—3000 rpm but if you need more power just tap two or three gears down and you will have to hold on for life...

I've ridden it 200 kph (125 mph), the handling was good but the wind was terrible. You can always lay down as flat as you can. I am six feet tall so imagine that. I think for a smaller person it would be much nicer to slice through the wind.

I removed the baffel inside the exhaust for the more noisy sound but the performance came off a bit.”

.
1982 Suzuki GS 850 GL

Owner: Peter Meijer, the Netherlands

Comments: ”I did an even trade for my Honda VT500 Ascot on 31 dec 2003. I haven't ridden it a lot yet because of bad weather in Holland, but the 100 km that I rode felt very very good.

The best things I like about my GS are the beautiful chrome exhaust pipes and the comfortable buddy seat.

This is my GS850L , in perfect condition with only 18,000 miles on the gauge, looks like new! Not bad for a cycle older then me (I'm 20, the bike is 22)...

Damn it's beautiful! I'm never going to sell this cycle!”

Webmaster's note: The correct model name for this bike is GS850GL, although the emblem on the bike says GS850L. The ”G” stands for shaft drive and the ”L” means ”American style”.

.
1982 Suzuki GSX 750 E

Owner: Rob Bleumers, Arnhem, The Netherlands

Purchased: 1993

Comments: ”My GSX750E was built in 1982 — that makes is 22 years old now! I drive it all winter and summer in Holland, it has almost 84.000 km on the meter and it's still working alright!

It's all original, some repairs have been done during the years. I use it almost every day for commuting and sometimes during the winter it won't start but with a little help from the battery of my car it always fires up.... It's alright considering it's a machine from 1982 and the kilometres I ride it... It's a good machine. I ride it with pride and it still does 200 kph!

I love this bike!”

1993 Suzuki GSX 600 F

Owner: DeeDee Zesenzeventig,
Gelderland, the Netherlands

Comments: ”My GSX600F is an untouched bike in originale state. I has not been repainted and nothing pn it is modified or changed.

I have only ridden motorcycle since December 2003 and this is my first bike. I think it is a perfect bike for starters. I haven't got much expirience but it is perfect for me.”
