1990 Suzuki VX 800

Owner: Bruce Bacon,
Boise County, Idaho, USA

Purchased: November 1999 with 1,065 miles and still have it. It
has 24,950 miles now.

Modifications: Original OEM Bikini Fairing, OEM tailrack/backrest,
stainless steel side covers, Works Performance shocks, Progressive
fork springs, SuperBrace fork brace, Raask adjustable handlebars.

Comments: With the upgrades to the suspension, the VX800
is a great handling bike. I've been extremely pleased with the
bike and plan to keep it forever. More information can be found

1974 Suzuki GT 750

Owner: Larry Ventress,
Goldsby, Oklahoma, USA

Comments: My most recent Suzuki is this '74 GT750L that
I purchased off of Ebay in March of 2004. It has 28,500 miles
on it. I was lucky and found another enthusiast to buy from and
he gave me a great deal on the bike.

It was in very good mechanical condition but just needed a LOT
of cleaning to bring it up to the shine you see in the photos.
The paint is original as are most of the parts.

I have been buying NOS parts on Ebay when I can and have been
replacing parts that are weak or worn. I plan on a more detailed
restoration this winter but for now this is good enough.

The only major modification I plan on making is to gear it up
for highway riding. Currently it has the very short factory 15t/47t
sprockets. I have purchased the '75 model gearing of a 16t/43t
sprockets and will install those this week so it is more relaxed
at highway speeds.

One of my original bikes 28 years ago was a green '74 GT550 Indy.
I rode that bike to college for several years and it was a great
bike but I always wanted a Water Buffalo.

This Buffalo has lived up to my dreams and is a joy to ride. Of
course it is not a rocket by today's standards but it is very
entertaining and smooth. I look forward to riding it for many
years.

Other Suzukis that I have owned: '72 TS90J, '72 TM250J, '74 GT550L,
'81 RM125, '86 RM125, '86 RM250 and this '74 GT750L.

1984 Suzuki GS 750 E

Owner: Michel Jacques,
Quebec, Canada

Purchased: March 2004

Comments: It's a great machine, mechanically A1 and very
powerful. I love it! Here in Canada you don't see very often that
machine of those years and so clean.

Modifications: As you'll see on pictures, the front of my
Suzuki is a GS1100 Suzuki part. You'll see two discs on the front
wheel, and on a regular GS750 it only have one :-)

1975 Suzuki RV 90

Owner: Ricardo Skalee, Videira, Brazil

Modifications: Repainted.

Comments: This is my RV-90. I have it for many years, including
the owner's manual and the service book.

It's an excellent motorcycle. I learned to ride with this bike!

I'm not sure of the correct model year. I have just found the
customs receipt, and it says 1974 on it, but the motorcycle license
papers say 1976. Perhaps it is possible to find out the model
year with help of the frame and the engine numbers?

The frame number 72859 and the engine number 74001 both reveal
that Ricardo's RV90 is a 1975-year's model. The custom papers
tell that it was shipped in Brazil already in 1974, the frame
and the engine numbers are rather low so so there's no conflict
there. The bike was probably manufactured already in 1974.

1990 Suzuki VX 800

Owner: Richard Morgan,
Perth, Western Australia

Comments: My name is Richard Morgan known on the net as
Tinbasher. I own a Pearl Black 1990 VX 800, bought
in 1990. It has 107,000 km on the clock.

I also make stainless steel and Aluminium parts for the VX as
a hobby. I could make parts for other bikes so long as I have
a pattern to work from.
