1967 Suzuki B 100 or what ever it was

It was was just a bike I rescued from a guy that
wanted to get rid of it.

1974 Suzuki GT550. I have owned two GT550s. They
were both bikes I rescued from being abandoned. I believe
this one was a 1974.

Wet bike. Tim sold his GT550 and bought this wet bike.
It's not Suzuki, it's not even a motorcycle, but I chose
to show a picture of it anyway.

1982 GS 1000 G. The second GS I owned was a mint
condition '82 Black GS1000G. I loved that bike above all
the other bikes I had owned.

Here's pictures of Tim's other Suzukis.

Owner: Tim Woodsome, Springfield Missouri USA

Comments: The little black B100 or what ever it
was was just a bike I rescued from a guy that wanted to get
rid of it. I first started on a Yamaha 80 and it reminded me
of that one.

I have owned two GT550s but they were both bikes I rescued from
being abandoned. Both had big fairings attached and after I
removed all the fairing stuff they were more fun. The one on
the picture was in need of a lot of cosmetic fixing up and I
sold it pretty quick as I was still riding a T500 as my main
bike. The second GT550 I rescued about three years ago. I was
a patrol deputy in the mountains of Colorado and watched this
bike sit unused in a guy's back yard for six years. I finally
made contact with the owner who had moved to Steamboat Springs
Colorado and bought the bike. I took it home and after cleaning
out the tank, the float bowles and putting in fresh two-stroke
oil and a battery it fired right up. The tires and carb bellows
were just fine and it ran excellent. I intended to keep it then
I spotted an old wet bike in a pawn shop and had to have it
so I quickly sold the GT to a guy who knew what it was and bought
the wet bike.

The fun of owning a wet bike is you are often the only one that
can ride it and it is a lot of fun to invite others to try it.
They usually will take a beating before they give up.
I have owned two GS1000G shaft drive Suzukis. The first was
pretty used and required some fixing. I put a trunk and Vetter
faring on it and I rode it back and forth to work for a while
then I found a cute Austin Healy Sprite and I traded the bike
for it.

The second GS was a mint condition '82 Black with very low miles.
I bought it for a great price and rode it a lot. I loved that
bike above all the others including my beloved T500s. Unfortunately
I got hit by a car on a road trip and although the bike was
not badly damaged (I rode it 65 miles home after the wreck),
the handle bars were bent and I was unable to find a factory
replacement set. The aftermarket bars were never as comfortable
and one winter I sold it. I regret that decision as it was a
faboulous machine and all the motorcycle I need(ed). I will
find another though I doubt I can find one with so few miles
in as good of condition. It was fast, stable, easy to ride,
and comfortable all day. It was a good two-up bike and handled
as well as I could ask.

I enjoyed a Slip Stream plexi fairing on the bike and after
that I doubt I will ever want a full fairing again. I rode that
bike in pounding rain and in terrible winds and was never in
doubt of its capability.

If you want a truly dependable and classic motorcycle chassis,
then find a GS 1000 or GS 850 shaft drive Suzuki. It is hard
to beat.

1986 RM125. It's 17
years old but what a pleasure to feel that power!

1986 Suzuki RM 125

Owner: Philippe Peta, Hesdin L'Abbé, France

Purchased: 2002 (in a really bad condition...).

Parts replaced
to new: Cylinder, piston, exhaust valve, brakes, mud guards,
levers and kick. Engine totally dismantled and repainted to
original Suzuki blue. Pro Circuit exhaust and silencer from
a '01 Kawa KX125. The plastics covered with yellow paper. Renthal
handle bar. Polished suspension harm.

Comments: Owners of newer models are surprised to see
my bike in such a good condition... It starts at first kick
and has never broken down. I really enjoy its out of time
touch and its power! No fear! Full throttle gives full emotion
a threats! The sound and smell are au rendez-vous!

1976 Suzuki GT 750

Owner: David Cooper, Melbourne Australia

Comments: The GT750A was purchased in Bundaberg, Queensland
new in 1976 and sold in 1978 in the same location. Pictured
as purchased for $AU2200 on the road with bikini fairing and
Metzler tyres. Later I changed the pipes for a 3 into 1 chamber.
Otherwise standard. Used for touring and commuting. Very smooth
and pleasant to ride. Handling was 'interesting' when pushed,
but no worse than most other bikes of the time.”

1982 Suzuki GS 850 G

Owner: David Cooper, Melbourne Australia

Comments: The GS850G was purchased December 2002 in Melbourne.
Used for daily commuting. It has aftermarket pipes and suspect
has been rejetted. Runs well and is enjoyable to ride. Presently
fitting flat bars and a bikini fairing. A long term restoration
project.

1986 Suzuki GS550L

Owner: Corey Brooks, Hays, KS USA

Purchased: May 2003

Comments: The gas tank has been repaired (i.e. notice
the end that is black previous owner did this in order
to avoid the cost of a new paint job). It has absolutely no
leaks, and fires up immediately. The ride feels very solid and
comfortable. The rust seems pretty minimal (i.e. I should be
able to clear them up myself). The worst problems are cosmetic
it could use a new paint job.

1977 Suzuki GT500

Owner: Paul Summers,
Nottingham UK

Comments: I purchased this GT500 last month at the Stafford
Motorbike Show. The bike is registered on 13/10 1977, totally
original condition, however the rear shocks are worn and the
chrome wheels are slightly pitted. The bike has been stood for
19 years, yet it has just passed it,'s MOT ,only needed a rear
brake light bulb, yippee! All I need to do now is to pass the
motorbike test which is due next month (wish me luck).
