1979 Suzuki GS750 Police

Motorman: Philip George,
Cleve, South Australia

Comments: ÓI was issued the Suzuki GS750 as my South Australia Police motorcycle around 1979. I rode it for about two years, until it was replaced by the DOHC Honda CB750.

The GS750 Suzuki was vastly superior to the SOHC Honda CB750, as in performance, handling and smoother gear changes.

I had the misfortune of crashing it twice and the bike was subsequently repaired and placed back in service.

SA Police went back to Suzukis around 1984, with the GSX750. After that we went totally to BMW's.

I was with South Australia police for 43 years, my last police motorcycle being a BMW K100.Ó

1982 Suzuki GS750T

Owner: ”Koma”, Nagoya Japan

Comments: ”Nice to meet you, my name is ”Koma” from Nagoya, Japan. The bike I am sending this email to is a GS750TZ manufactured in 1982. I purchased this bike imported from North America in October 2023. It is a reverse import to Japan, so I am not sure if there is anyone else in Japan who rides it.

When I first bought it, it was in a state where it couldn't be ridden, but I repaired it in six months.
I disassembled and cleaned the electrical parts, tires, carburetor, gas tank, etc. so that it can be ridden.
I then obtained a vehicle inspection so that it could be ridden in Japan, and have been riding it since June 2024.”
