1990 Suzuki RGV 250 SP
.
Owner: Randy Wedge, Indiana USA
.
Comments: ”Here's my '90 home market VJ22FL RGV250SP, sold only in Japan when new. Bike was used in Japan it's first few years then shipped to Australia for about another 10 for track abuse. Then it was shipped to the USA in a container with about five other 250 two strokes to be used as parts bikes for a racer.
.
Luckily the SP only lost its bodywork through the parts swapping and was put in a corner of a shed for another 10–12 years. I found the bike seven years ago when i bought another RGV that the owner had for parts. He held onto the SP until 2013 when he finally let me buy it.
.
I found correct bodywork and collected all the missing parts that were removed throughout it's life. Then went through all the chassis bearing and so on, to get it back on the street.
.
This bike is now a complete correct SP1...except for black wheels (front 3.5x17 FR600)..and GSXR calipers.
.
The bike now resides with me in Northern Indiana USA zip 46528, legally titled and plated.
.
I'll probably keep this one forever....it's a dream to ride, even with the close ratio trans...."

Owner: Alireza Mahmoudi
.
Comments: ”I'm a Suzuki employee...
.
I have an old Japanese motorcycle, a Suzuki K125 factory. I decided to sell it for a financial problem. I'm waiting for an email reply."

I don't know if this person thinks I should buy the motorcycle or not but I would have know a bit more to even concider it. — What model year is it? — Where is it? — Is it in good condition? — How much would it cost me, including shipping it to Sweden?

Comments: ”I own a '75 TS250, but I'm not sure of the exact model. There are some things on my bike which I'm not quite sure about as well – the mudguards, chain guard, foot rests and rear shocks I haven't seen on any other TS motorbike. They can be aftermarket parts."

Owner: Kerrie Holland, Swadlincote, Derbyshire, England

Comments: ”I was looking at your site as I'm trying to find out more about my bike. I bought it in July 2017 as a non runner since 2010.
.
After a good service and lovingly stripped and resprayed, she sailed through the MOT with NO advisories. She's a pleasure to ride and I absolutely love it. I can't find out much about them but I'm proud to own such a rare (in England anyway) dream of a bike."

Owner: Edward Jones,

.
E-mail: Ed_Jo2003@yahoo.com
.
Comments: ”My '85 GS1150 shows ES on the bike but EF on the title. What is it? Does the combination make it an EFS? What's the difference? See pics."

The ES and EF models were not that different. Basically the EF model was a ES with a full fairing, while the ES version didn't have the lower part of the fairing. The naked E model didn't have a fairing at all.
.
The bike is over 30 years old. My guess is that somebody has replaced parts that have been broken or for some other reason needed to be replaced.

UPDATE: Edward says his bike is for sale. He says the price is $5,500 (negotiable).

Suzuki 250cc mystery bike?
.
Owner: , Klaas de Jong? The Netherlands
.
Comments: ”I am interested in buying a Suzuki 250cc motorcycle. The problem is that I don't know if I buy an original bike or a bike assembled from various Suzuki motorcycles. Can you give me a help on this?
.
In the attachment are pictures of the mentioned motorcycle. Things I noticed by myself: • The fuel tank has the shape of a '69 Suzuki T250 Hustler. I can't find this type of tank-styling at your website. So maybe custom made? • The exhaust looks like a '70 T25- II Scrambler.
.
So I guess it comes from end of the 60s, beginning of the 70s. Regards and thanks in advance"

An interesting bike! The engine and the front end looks like GT250 but the rest of the bike looks older. The front light has the vintage Suzuki shape but I can't say where all the stuff is coming from. The tank looks more like a Yamaha than Suzuki to me. But I can be wrong...
