1975 Suzuki TM 75

Owner: Scott, Charlotte NC, USA

Comments: “Many years ago during the Christmas of 1975 I got a great Christmas gift. It was a Suzuki TM75!
I had just turned ten years old and spent many hours riding the bike in my small town of Raven, VA. There were several boys in my neighborhood who also had bikes, Suzukis, Kawasak's, Hondas etc. We had around 30 miles or so to ride around in the country and I spent many happy summer's doing just that.

Finally I outgrew the TM75 and started riding my dad's Suzuki 175 trail bike, my TM sat neglected for several years until my dad sold it. I believe there are a few more pictures of the bike and me at my parents house in VA. I know live in Charlotte, NC and visit my parents when I can.”

1974 Suzuki K 125

Owner: Joe Speirs, Banbridge, Northern Ireland

Comments: “Two years ago I found this K125 in a shed in Thailand. I was told that it had sat there for about 30 years and the only thing missing was the battery.

The mice had built a nest in the frame where the battery should have been and eaten the wiring but the keys were tied to the handlebars and everything else was intact.

I bought the bike and got it running with very little work. I had assumed that the crank seals would have been gone after non use for such a long time but the engine started easily and runs and sounds great the gearbox is tight and good and the electric starter works fine!

I have not touched the bodywork except to clean it and have driven the bike regularly around town and to some shows and events. My only problem with the bike is that I don't have any registration papers for it and Thai law is such that even if I had the registration document I would need the last registered owner to sign it and transfer the ownership in perso, so I'm sure I will never have it registered in my name in Thailand –but it is still a great little bike to take to shows and events.

You may publish my email and maybe some of your viewers may have some comments or suggestions for the best plan for my K125 .”

1994 Suzuki GSX-R 750 SP

1987 Suzuki GSX 1100 S Katana

2003 Suzuki SV 1000 N

2004 Suzuki DR-Z 400

1975 Suzuki TS 250

Owner: David Tuckley,
Shropshire, England
Comments: ”My bikes are: SV1000N, Katana 1100S, GSX-R750SP, Kawasaki H2 750, Suzuki DR-Z400, Suzuki TS250M.

As for the GSX-R 750SPR it comes out a couple of times a year as it is so rare to see in this condition.

The Katana is nearly done. It's been off the road for 20 years.
The SVis my main bike as it is extremely nice to ride and has put a smile on my face very time I get on it. It was one of the first shipment of SV1000N in the country.

18 years on and still love it!

And for the TS250, it will need a full rebuild next winter.

The DR-Z400 is a play thing.”

1983 Suzuki DR 125

Owner: Eddie John,
UK

Comments: “I thought you might be interested in a picture of me taken in 1983 with my brand new Suzuki DR125. It's not a great photo but it shows the DR in it's best combination of blue tank/panels/guards with gold wheels.

The registration number was A186 TEU. Great bike!!!”

1973 Suzuki T 500

Owner: Tim Ellis,
UK

Comments: “I have attached a picture of my 1973 T500 if it is any good to include in the Visitors' Suzukis gallery. I bought the bike in 1987 from a motorcycle breakers in Leeds
UK. It cost £125. I fitted it with GT fork,
disk brake and clocks.

The clock shows just over 50000 miles but as it is not original I have no idea what the actual mileage is.
All I do know is that I've done about 40000 miles on it.

The bike is unrestored but I have had to replace the tank and seat with second hand items over the years.

I've not had to touch the engine in all this time.

It is a brilliant motorcycle which is still in regular use. An article that I wrote about my ownership appeared in the March 2014 issue of RealClassic magazine.

The photograph was taken at Winterburn,
Yorkshire.”
