1984 Suzuki GS550L

Owner: Randy Egan
Barrie, Ontario
Canada

Mileage: 39,450 km

Comments: “This is my 1984 Suzuki GS 550 L. I purchased it a year ago for $400 off of a co-worker. It has been stored in a shed and has not run in eleven years.

I couldn't even tell what colour it was when I picked it up. I've spent the last year cleaning her up and finally got it running two weeks ago.

It's purrin' like a kitten. This bike is completely original right now. I going to put new rubber on it this spring and need to find a front fender. It had fallen over in the shed it was stored in and caused some damage to it.

Unfortunately it is late fall and I won't be able to ride it this year. Can't wait for spring. I absolutely love the look of this bike. I bought it for a project, to clean it up and sell it. Not going to sell it now, it's a keeper. ”

197_ Suzuki A80

Owner: Mike Donaldson,
New Zealand

Comments: “Hello, here is a couple of photos of my A80 I own. This wee bike runs like a dream. Everything works from brakes to speedo.

There are 13,704 km on the clock. It it original as they come. As you can see it stands there today totally untouched since the day of manufacture.

I was wondering, what year this wee gem is? It was first registered in New Zealand and is where it lives today.

I also have a couple of other rare Suzukis that may be of interest for your website. ”
I'm not sure of the model year. It looks like a mid-seventies bike to me. Anyone?

1974 Suzuki K50

Owner: Hans Ohlsson,
Upplands Väsby, Sweden

Mileage: 11,553 km

Comments: “I bought my bike in Eskilstuna, in May 1974. I wanted a green one and they didn't have any in Stockholm but there was one in Eskilstuna.

I have replaced the rear light, it's from a 125 Suzuki. I still have the original rear light.

I have also added a mud falp to the rear mud guard. Water spray shortened the spark plug hat

I have also reduced the head light. It kept on killing the bulb. I have also installed a relay to the brake light, to save the brake light switch.

I still have all the original tools and all the keys. I have thinking of selling it but I don't know what it is worth. I have never seen one for sale.”

2001 Suzuki AN400 Burgman

Owner: Rogério Ribas da Costa,
São Paulo, Brasil

Comments: “In 2001, a Suzuki sales representative here in Brazil painted only ten bikes in yellow, so that it's untouched, i.e, it's in the same original shape and color it was when it left the shop.

I've not made any plans to sold it for while. Recently I left it in service to replace many of bike's parts to make it like brand new. It's great! I really love it so much.

It has only 17,500 km on the meter. I only take it out on sunny weekends. I have never rode it on a rainy day!”

2002 Suzuki GSX1400

Owner: Peter Thomsen,
Copenhagen Denmark

Comments: ”Please see attachments of my nice GSX 1400 K2 from May 2002. I bought it in Germany in original colours white/blue and stripped down for paint. As you see I built it up from bottom once again with some modifications.

It also has a Power Commander and this winter I will get a solo seat, bellypan and screen above back tire.

I hope you can use these photos for your very cool website about Suzuki bikes.

I'm trying to sell my 100% original GSX1100ES from 1983 at this moment but I'm nor sure if I really can do it - that is a fine bike as well.
Have a nice day and have fun riding like I do!”
