1980 Suzuki GT 125 X-4
1994 Suzuki GSX 1100 G

Owner: Yves Stehle
Lausanne, Switzerland
Comments: ÓI was looking for some info/manuals for the Suzies I've owned and found your homepage. I have to say you are doing a great job. It's just amazing! Thank's a lot.
I owned my first Suzie back in 1980. It was the GT125 X4 two-stroke. I was very happy with the little 125 and I rode many kilometers with.
In 1982 I traded it in for a Honda CB250N and in 1984 i bought a Honda CB750 four. Then a little break of 25 years...
This year I'm back with a GSX1100G. It's a great motorcycle for long runs and two-up touring. 4,500 km in two months :-)
I like the monsterous torque of this model, the place and comfort for the passenger and the shaft drive transmission. The only negative point is its weight. It's a heavy bike and the operation at slow speeds, like manouvering it into confined parking spaces, is a bit delicate. But once you're on the road it's a great great pleasure.Ó

1966 Suzuki K 15 P Hillbilly

Owner: Gary De Groot, Springfield,
South Dakota, USA

Comments: This winter I found a K15P with a 1966 title. Engine number 432150,
frame number 435017.

It has rubber gaiters on the forks, a sticker on the oil tank saying "Posi-Force", no chrome stripe on the seat. High front fender, engine skid guard, high pipes and handlebars. From what I have read at your site it seems to be a cross between a 1966 and 67. Unfortunately the luggage rack was broken so I do not know if it was straight or curved at the back.

I'll be visiting your site more ofter now that I have something to work on.

1985 Suzuki RG 500 Gamma

Owner: Greg Martin Perth, Western Australia

Comments: “Great site you have. I thought I wiould email you a couple of pics of my latest RG 500.

This is my fourth RG 500. I purchased my other three in 1985 and 1986 (all new). I am 46 and have been out of motorcycling for 20 years. I recently purchased this one owner unmodified RG with 16 000 original km on the odo. The bike is 100% unmolested and as brand new.

The motor has never been pulled down so it is as new. I have always loved the larger capacity 2 strokes having owned many before. (H2 Kawasaki, Suzuki GT250 X7 etc.)

I have prepared the bike for long term storage along with an RC30 and I am hoping to add a Suzuki GSXR-750R, Yamaha OWO1, Honda NS400R and Yamaha RZ500 to the collection. Hope you enjoy the pics.”
Is it a 1985? 1986? Greg didn't mention the model year of his bike.

1979 Suzuki GT 200 X5

Owner: Bernardo Ruiz,
Montevideo, Uruguay
Comments: ÓI bought it a year and a half ago. It was complete but the fuel tank, the seat, the front light, and many other things where damaged and the electrics was unusable. Even the paint was in very bad condition. I buoght it very cheap.

It has been restored almost fully, the electric system has been rebuilt, the engine that was in good conditions was made to new, it has been repainted, the upholstered was made new, the rims painted, the speedo and tachometers replaced. In other words it has been remade, not restored.

I dont know the real mileage but I have made about 9,500 km (5,500 miles) with it after I bought it.

The only thing that's not original is the paint. It was originally blue (originally there were two combinations of colours for this bike Ñ yellow/black and blue/black). Now I got it in black with letters in red and the seat and rims are white. That's the only thing I have changed.

I still have it, despite of its consumption of fuel, that is around 13 km/liter, even I had to buy another bike with less consumption (35 km/liter). It's chinese but it works.

I haven't sold it because it's an incredible machine and I love it too much. It goes really for a 200cc 1979 motorcycle. The topspeed is not very high (140km/h) but the acceleration can almost be compared with a 500cc four-stroke engine. I raced it against a friend's '81 Yamaha SR500 (single cilinder, 500cc, 2 valves). The SR500 finished only ten meters ahead after 350 meters of race.

It is difficult to find spare parts, such as the electricals and some bodywork and many engine parts, for the bike. And the parts are not cheap. But it's a very good motorcycle. Reccomended for people with lots of time and enough money to maintain an old machine. You must love this motorcycle to have it, there are many others cheaper and newer bikes, but none new in the category has the power of the GT200.Ó
