Suzuki TS80X/RH80X
1984—1989

I have tried to tell the Suzuki TS 80 X / RH 80 X model history on this page, as I know it. The page is still under construction. I would be grateful of any contributions — sales brochures, magazine ads, magazine articles, pictures, specs, facts, corrections etc. Please scan the material in JPEG format (large enough that all the details are visible) and send them to me. The water-cooled Suzuki TS80X replaced the air cooled TS80ER (1979—1983) and was launched as a 1984-year's model. It was called RH80X on some markets, sometimes even as RH80 (without the'X'). According to the German authorities the engine was 7 kW strong and the bike was good for 80 km/h maximum speed. Georg Leinfelder was kind enough to send some pictures of his bike (see below). It was manufactured in 1983 but officially the model was introduced as a 1984 year's model. The Suzuki TS80X was discontinued in 1989.
