Here's pictures of Lasse's T-500 after the cleaning up.

1969 T500-II Cobra Owner: Lars Sellbom Country: Sweden New: 1969 frame no 14271. Purchased: February 2002. 2002, February 3rd Before. The exhaust pipes were rusty and needed cleaning up.

After. ”All you need is Autosol rubbing compound and a lot of patience”, Lasse comments.

Before. The front shockers needed some attention as well.

After. Voilá! All you need is some TLC (tender and loving care)...

Before. The previous owner had for some strange reason sprayed the passenger seat white. ”The only thing that helps is industrial alcohol and rubbing, rubbing, rubbing...” Lasse says.

2002, May 20th, On the road As you can see,all the rubbing paid off. The bike looks almost new. Further plans: Lasse is looking for a better rubber hose for the air cleaner, an original Cobra tachometer and a few other minor things.
