Suzuki T500 magazine articles

I have put some T-500 magazine articles on this page. I would be grateful of any contributions — sales brochures, magazine ads, magazine articles, pictures, specs, facts, corrections etc. Please scan the material in JPEG format (large enough that all the details are visible) and send them to me. 1967 Suzuki 500/Five road test (USA, 6 pages). Click to enlarge. Here's a 6-page road test of the Suzuki T500, back them called Suzuki 500/Five in the United States. The article was published in December issue of Cycle World, USA. The bike was shown in full color on the cover page. I show here even the new specs for the T500, sent to Cycle World magazine by Hideharu Masui, advertising manager of Suzuki Moto Company in the US.

1968 Suzuki T500 road test (Sweden, 3 pages). Click to enlarge. The article was published Swedish MC-Nytt magazine 8/1968 (the language is Swedish). Thanks for Lars Sellbom for scanning the article! Lars owns a fine 1969 T-500 Cobra. Here's some pictures of his bike, before and after restauration.

1968 Suzuki T500 (here called 500 sport) presentation (Finland). Click to enlarge. This small note was published in the Finnish magazine called Tekniikan Maailma, 7/1968. The picture was taken at the '68 R.A.I. Motorcycle Show in Amsterdam. The other Suzuki mentioned in the article was the TR250.

1969 Suzuki T500 road test (Finland, 4 pages). Click to enlarge. The article was published in Finnisg magazine called Tekniikan Maailma, issue 18/1969. The test rider (Tapio Sunell) thought the new T500 was a super bike that made its owner feel like a king of the road. He really loved the bike. Still, there was some things that he didn't appreciate: The fuel tank was too small, the fuel consumption a bit high and the vibrations from the engine were almost unbearable at 5500 rpm and above (the meter needle actually fell off after 2.000 kilometers because of the heavy vibrations!). Mr. Sunell didn't like the riding position either, he would mount a lower and a bit narrower handlebar to make riding at high speeds more comfortable. Otherwise the bike was great: durable, good looking and really fast. And it was even the cheapest bike in its class! Here's the T500 engine picture (exploded view) in a larger format.
