I have tried to tell the Suzuki Slingshot 125 model history on this page as I know it. Suzuki's new 125 cc motorcycle for 2010, Slingshot, was aimed at the mass market and had an attractive price tag. Sling Shot was inspired by the GSX-R series, and had the new design head lamps, front fender and a convenient gear position indicator. The 125 cc engine produced 8.5 hp @ 7,500 rpm of maximum power and 10 Nm @ 3,500 rpm of maximum torque. Slingshot's engine was fed by a BS carburettor with a Throttle Position Switch (TPS) that optimizes the ignition timing coupled with a DC – CDI along with the Suzuki Pulsed-secondary AIR-injection (PAIR) system that results in high combustion efficiency for enhanced mileage and reduced emissions. Suzuki Slingshot spoke wheel variant's kerb weight is 127 kg and comes with attractive colors namely the Metallic Mustard Yellow, Candy Antares Red, Pearl Nebular Black and Metallic Fox Orange.

Suzuki Slingshot wass available in two variants, one was termed as SEU, which came with a front drum brake and other had been named as SCD. It had a disc brake at the front. 2010 Suzuki Slingshot was available in four colors: Metallic Mustard Yellow (YUC), Metallic Fox Orange (YUK), Candy Antares Red (19A) and Pearl Nebular Black (YAY). The Slingshot Disc available in only colours: Metallic Mustard Yellow (YUC) and Metallic Fox Orange (YUK).

2011 Suzuki year code: L1

2011 Suzuki launched the slightly updated Slingshot Plus model with disc brake option and a small visor. It was available in four colors: Metallic Mustard Yellow (YUC), Candy Antares Red (19A), Pearl Nebular Black (YAY) and Metallica Fox Orange (YUK). The bike in the picture below has no visor but it has red coil springs on the rear shock absorbers. I don't know if there was such a model available. This page is still under construction.
