Suzuki released the Mini-Tan50 (OM50) in July 1977. It looked a lot like the TS50 but was smaller and had different engine character more suitable for beginners. The Mini-Tan was a 50cc trail machine that had useful torque band even at low and medium rpm and not only on full throttle. It gained popularity for its easy-to-use power band. The maximum output is 5.2 horsepower and the price is 109,000 yen.
The Mini-Tan was a sibling to the chopper styled moped Mame-Tan (OR50) (5.5 hp, price 109,000 yen) released in the same year and the road sports model RG50 (6.3 hp, price 119,000 yen).
Colors: The Mini-Tan 50 was available in Red, Green and Blue.
