Suzuki GS50 was a naked 50cc bike launched in Japan in August 2005. Featuring design elements from larger bikes incorporated into the fuel tank, rear fairing, and other components, the GS50 was positioned as an entry-level model for riders aiming to move up to bigger bikes in the future.
It had a newly developed smooth-revving engine that generated maximum output of 5.0 PS (3.7 kW) at 8,500 rpm. It was coupled with a 4-speed manual transmission. The GS50 showed a good fuel economy, according to Suzuki's own test results one could ride whopping of 95 kilometers with one liter gasoline at 30 km/h steady speed. In theory, one could ride 760 km (472 miles) with its 8-liter tank of fuel.
Suzuki GS50 was a traditionally built motorbike with no groundbraking new technology. It was a simple small bike with a backbone type frame, mechanical drum brakes front and rear, a single cylinder air-cooled 4-stroke engine, traditional suspension and wire wheels.
Suzuki GS50 was manufactured between years 2005 and 2008. |
