Suzuki DS100
1978—1981

I have tried to tell the Suzuki DS 100 model history on this page, as I know it. The page is still under construction. 1978 Suzuki year code: C

Based on the Suzuki RM100, the DS100 was a dual purpose model launched in 1978, and sold particularly well in its designated market, North America. Engine was a reed valve 2-stroke single, also based on the RM competition unit, but massively de-tune to 11 hp @ 7,500 rpm from the 19 hp @ 10,500 rpm of the RM for both flexibility and reliability. Model was discontinued in 1981.

1980 Suzuki year code: T

New for 1980 was RM-styling, longer rear travel suspension and dogleg levers. The fenders and the fuel tank were similar to the RM100. Color: Red
