Suzuki TS250X/RH250X
1984—1989

I have tried to tell the Suzuki TS 250 X model history on this page, as I know it. The page is still under construction. I would be grateful of any contributions — sales brochures, magazine ads, magazine articles, pictures, specs, facts, corrections etc. Please scan the material in JPEG format (large enough that all the details are visible) and send them to me. After the air-cooled two-stroker TS250 was discontinued after 1981 the four-stroke DR250 took over. It wasn't until 1984 the model was brought to life again, this time with a liquid-cooled engine from the RM250. The model was renamed to TS250X. The model was called RH250X on some markets – or just RH250 (France).

Compred to the 1981 TS250, the TS250X/RH250X had heavily revised panes, largely made in plastic. Clocks were now square in profile, headlamp fitted with enduro type shroud and it had box section swing arm. The rear suspension was now Monoshock instead of Twin-shock suspension. The 1985 TS250X was available in following colors: Marble Current Red (14C), Smoke Black (21C), Phiolina Yellow (04N)
