Suzuki Satria F150 was a sporty ”hyper underbone” commuter bike, popular in Indonesia and Vietnam. An underbone motorcycle is a lightweight bike with a step-through frame and an engine positioned beneath the rider. ”Hyper underbone” is a high-performance version of an underbone motorcycle. The Suzuki Satria, the Suzuki Raider and the Suzuki Belang are practically the same 150cc underbone motorcycle, sold under different names based on the country. The name Suzuki Satria (F150 / FU150) was used primarily in Indonesia and Vietnam. The name Suzuki Raider (R150) was used in the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, and various export markets. Suzuki Belang (R150) name was used specifically in Malaysia until production and naming shifted over time. The Suzuki Satria F150 remains actively sold in Vietnam as an imported model, while the locally assembled Suzuki Raider R150 has been phased out or discontinued by Suzuki Vietnam. First Generation (2004–2015) Launch: Debuted in Indonesia and the Philippines (as the Raider R150) in 2004. It inherited its DOHC, oil-cooled 150cc engine from the Suzuki FXR150 sportbike that was mounted into a redesigned FX125 underbone chassis. The model was initially imported from Thailand before local assembly (CKD) started in Indonesia in 2007. It used a carburetor fuel system. Fuel Injection era (2016–Present) In 2016, the Satria F150 was upgraded with a fuel-injected engine shared with the Suzuki GSX-R150, featuring a revised transmission, specific injectors, and unique ECM tuning. Suzuki continues to refine the lineup, introducing newer iterations to keep up with modern emission standards and regional popularity. This page is still under construction. Have patience.

2016 Suzuki year code: L6

The all new fuel-injected Suzuki Satria F150 was unveiled in Indonesia in February 2016, and in August 2016 at GIIAS 2016, the Indonesia International Auto Show. The model came in to the shops Suzuki Indonesia launched the All New Satria F150 in June 2015 with a redesigned look and also meeting Euro III standards. The model was upgraded with a fuel-injected engine that it shared with the Suzuki GSX-R150, featuring a revised transmission, specific injectors, and unique ECM tuning. 2016 Suzuki Satria F150 color options: Macho Bright Blue (YUJ), Brilliant White / Solid Black, Titan Black / Solid Black (AYX), Stronger Red / Titan Black (GTA), Titan Black / Solid Black (with Red cast wheels)

The design of the bike was revolutionary, clearly ahead (in terms of practicality) of Suzuki products that were specifically made for the Indian market. The front section was light and totally out of proportion in comparison to regular scooters. The side profile of Satria flaunts moped style fuel tank arrangement, modern fairing, and decently placed radiator. The engine used on all new Satria F150 is a 147.3 cc, single cylinder unit, producing 18.24 hp at 10,000 rpm and 13.8 Nm at 8,500, paired withasix-speed gearbox. It weighed under 115 kg with full fuel and fluids, beating the Yamaha R15 in terms of power to weight ratio. The motorcycle was equipped with advanced electronic fuel injection (Fi) technology to help save fuel combined with the intelligent start system – Suzuki Easy Start System, giving customers a great driving experience. The sporty Satria F150 had 70/90-17 tire at the front and 80/90-17 rear tire, it was unusual with with such thin rubber for more than 18 hp of power. It had petal disc brakes (dual-piston brake caliper at the front) at both ends, with front getting a telescopic suspension for better handling. The under-seat storage on Satria came with USB charging as standard. 2017 Suzuki Satria F150 colors: Macho Bright Blue (YUJ), Titan Black / Solid Black (AYX) with red rims, Titan Black / Solid Black (AYX), Brilliant White / Solid Black and Stronger Red / Titan Black (GTA) In August 2016, a ”Black Predator” version of the Satria F150 was unveiled.

2018 Satria F150, unveiled at the 2017 Motor Exchange (BURTOR) event in South Jakarta in September 2017, Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) showed the choice of colors for the standard variant, namely Brilliant White (YUH), Stronger Red (YZE) and Titan Black (YVU). In addition, there were two special color choices for the High Grade variant, namely Titan Black (YVU) with red cast wheels and Metallic Triton Blue (YSF) with the livery just like the Suzuki GSX-RR belonging to 2017 Suzuki Ecstar MotoGP team. In addition to the five new color options, SIS also continues to market the All New Satria F150 Black Predator variant in Titan Black / Solid Black (AYX) livery. As a special edition product, it was also equipped with additional features such as a USB Charger and Security Alarm System. While all the other variants had copper-gold/yellow-gold engine casing finish, the Ecstar GP and the Black Predator variants both had black engine casings.

The 2019 Suzuki Satria F150 was unveiled at GIIAS 2018, the Indonesia International Auto Show, in August 2018. The 2019 Satria F150 was updated with new youthful triping, and new color choices, namely Stronger Red (GTA), Aura Yellow (AUK), Titan Black (YVU) and Titan Black with Red rims, called the BlackFire edition. Suzuki also updated the graphics sligthly for the MotoGP Special Edition with Metallic Triton Blue (YSF) paint code.

In November 2019, Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS), the brand holder for Suzuki vehicles in Indonesia, launched a special edition for the ”hyperunderbone” Suzuki Satria F150. It came in a special new color option: Solarize Silver / Metallic Triton Blue.

2021 Suzuki year code: M1

On January 15, Suzuki Vietnam officially launched a new version 2021 for the Suzuki Satria F150 underbone hand-clutch with slight upgrade in appearance. In addition to decals and colours, the '21 Suzuki Satria F150 had nothing in else in terms of design and equipment. Overall, the car still had a ‘wind-blown’ hyper underbone design with a compact body and low handlebars to bring familiar sitting posture. In terms of power, the Suzuki Satria F150 remaineds the same high-performance DOHC, 4 -stroke, 4-valve, 6-speed, liquid-cooled engine for a capacity of 18.2 HP at 10,000 rpm and 13.8 Nm of maximum torque at 8,500 rpm. Suzuki Satria F150 was imported directly from Indonesia and distributed to Vietnamese market. It was sold side by side with the Suzuki Raider R150 but the price of the Satria was slightly higher because of the import fees. The 2021 Suzuki Satria F150 was available in several updated color options, including Metallic Triton Blue (MotoGP edition), Titanium Black, Purple Red, Matte Black, and Matte Blue. In Vietnam, the 2021 Satria F150 three color options were available. The local color names, here translated in English were ”Bold Blue-Black, ”Fiery White-Red-Black” and ”Cool Matte Red-Black”.

In Indonesia, the 2022 Suzuki Satria F150 color options were Metallic Matte Stellar Blue / Titan Black, Pearl Bright Ivory / Titan Black, Titan Black and Solarize Silver / Metallic Triton Blue (special edition, introduced in September 2022 featuring blue-painted wheel rims) In Vietnam, a new version of the Suzuki Satria F150 was launched in June 2022. Aside from changes in color and decals, the new Suzuki Satria F150 retained its design and features. The two choices of color were White / Red / Black, and Black / Red, the latter being a new color choice.
