The Suzuki JR80 is a enduro / offroad bike, powered by a compact two stroke 79.00 cc single cylinder engine. It is designed for youngsters who´ve already gotten their feet wet trail riding, but are still looking for a smaller, lightweight machine. It combines enhanced engine performance with lightweight maneuverability, so young people can add to their riding skills with confidence.
The JR80 engine is mated on a smooth-shifting 5-speed manual transmission that was developed to help the rider learn easy how to shift correctly each gear. The two stroke engine is fed by a 4.10 litres (1.08 gallons) fuel tank.
The bike has front and rear oil-damped shock absorbers that offer a pretty smooth riding experience and deal great with road bumps. At rear, it has a mono-shock absorber that has 5 adjustable preload settings.
The JR80 has 14-inch front and 12-inch rear wheels and drum brakes.
The model was introduced for the 2001 season and is still sold in some countries. The bike model has remained virtually unchanged since its launch, exept for new graphics that changed every year between until 2006. After that, it seems that the Suzuki JR80 has remained unchanged – including the graphics.

The JR80 color has always been the same: Champion Yellow. |
